Taurine is a kind of special amino acid, is a kind of essential nutrient element of human body, has the wonderful effect of balanced health. Taurine also known as alpha-aminoethylsulfonic acid, the earliest separated from bezoar, so named. Pure product is colorless or white oblique crystal, odorless, stable chemical property, soluble in ethyl ether and other organic solvents, is a kind of sulfur containing non-protein amino acids, in the body in free state, does not participate in the body protein biosynthesis. Taurine is not involved in protein synthesis, but it is closely related to the metabolism of L-Cysteine and L-Cysteine. L-Cysteine sulphuric acid carboxylase (CSAD), which is used to synthesize taurine, has low activity.

Jelly 0.3--0.5g/kg, juice (fruity) type drinks 0.4--0.6 g/kg, cocoa powder and other flavors of nutritious solid drinks 110-140mg/100g, dairy products, infant food and cereal products 0.3--0.5g/kg, liquid drinks and milk drinks 0.4-- 0.5g/kg, the addition amount of liquid dairy products 30-50mg/100ml.
