Glycine

Glycine

Descriptions:

Glycine is white monoclinic or hexagonal crystal, or white crystalline powder. No smell, special sweet taste. Relative density 1.1607.Melting point 248 (decomposition).Soluble in water, Glycine is the simplest amino acid series structure, the body is not required an amino acid, both acidic and basic functional groups in the molecule, in water solution as strong electrolyte, in strong polar solvent solubility is bigger, basic not soluble in nonpolar solvents, and has high boiling point and melting point, through the regulation of acid and alkaline aqueous solution, can make the glycine presents different molecular forms.

Applications:

Food grade

1. Use it as flavoring agent and sweetener, and use it in alcoholic drinks together with DL-Alanine and citric acid; When synthesizing sake and fine feed, it is used as acid taste correction and buffer. Used as additives in pickling pickles, sweet sauces, soy sauce, vinegar and fruit juice to improve the flavor, taste, keep the original taste and provide a source of sweetness

2. As a preservative for minced fish and peanut butter, it can inhibit the reproduction of bacillus subtilis and escherichia coli

3. Use its amino and carboxyl groups to buffer the taste of salt and vinegar

4. Attractants (attractants) used as feed additives

5. Formula for food brewing, meat processing and cool drinks, and anti-bitter agent of saccharin sodium

6. Used as a stabilizer for cream, cheese, margarine, instant noodles, wheat flour and lard

7. Used to stabilize vitamin C in food processing

8. Monosodium glutamate is 10% glycine

9. Can be used as a preservative, play an important role in anti-corrosion

Medical grade

1. Used for medical microorganism and biochemical study of amino acid metabolism

2. Used as the synthesis material of aureomycin buffer, anti-pacinson's disease drug l-dopa, vitamin B6, L- Threonine and other amino acids

3. Used for amino acid nutrition infusion

4. As the raw material of cephalosporin; Sulfoxycin intermediate; Synthesis of imidazole acetic acid intermediate and so on

5. Use as a cosmetic ingredient

Feed grade

Mainly as poultry, livestock, especially pets and other edible feed to increase amino acid additives and attractants. Used as the additive of hydrolyzed protein and as the synergist of hydrolyzed protein.
