BCAA

BCAA

Descriptions:

L-Leucine, L-Valine, and L-Isoleucine are known collectively as branched amino acids (BCAA), so they are also known as complex branched amino acids. The most important of the complex branched amino acids is L-leucine, the precursor of ketoisoacid (KIC) and HMB.KIC and HMB increase muscle mass, reduce fat, and provide nutrients to the body. The BCAA content of whey protein is high and should be supplemented with 4-5 grams after training.

BCAA promotes anabolism (muscle growth) in two specific ways:

1. Promote insulin release

2. Promote the release of growth hormone
