L-Glutathione
L-Glutathione
Descriptions:
L-Glutathione is a tripeptide containing the gamma-amide bond and the sulfhydryl group. It is composed of glutamate, cysteine and glycine and is found in almost every cell of the body. L-Glutathione can be reduced (g-sh) or oxidized (g-s-s-g).Glutathione reductase can catalyze the mutual change between the two types. The coenzyme of this enzyme can also provide NADPH for the by-pass metabolism of pentose phosphate. L-Glutathione can not only be used as medicine, but also as the base material of functional food, which is widely used in functional food such as anti-aging, enhancing immunity and anti-tumor.
Functions:
L-Glutathione helps maintain normal immune system function and has antioxidant, integrative and detoxification effects. Cysteine on the sulfhydryl group for its active group (often abbreviated as g-sh), easy to combine with some drugs, toxins, so that it has an integrated detoxification effect.
