Descriptions:

L-Cysteine hydrochloride monohydrate is white or colorless crystal with odorous acid. Soluble in water, very slightly dissolved in ethanol. Insoluble in benzene, ether, acetone, ethyl acetate and carbon tetrachloride. It is stable to acid, and is easily oxidized to l-cystine by air in neutral and alkaline solution. Its hydrochloride is relatively stable, so it is generally made into hydrochloride. Melting point is 175 .1% aqueous solution has a Ph of 1.7.It has the function of reducing oxidation and preventing nonenzymatic Browning.LD50 was 3.46mg/kg.
