L-Threonine is a white rhombic crystal or crystalline powder. No odor, slightly sweet taste. Melt and decompose at about 256.At high temperature, dilute alkali decomposition, acid decomposition slowly. Soluble in water (20g/100ml,25), insoluble in ethanol, ether and chloroform. It is an essential amino acid. Its physiological effect is 2 times of dl-threonine. The minimum requirement is about 0.5g per day. Lack of easy 5 loss of appetite, easy to suffer from fatty liver disease.

Applications:

1. The amount of feed additives is increasing rapidly. It is often added to the feed of young piglets and poultry. It is the second restricted amino acid in pig feed and the third restricted amino acid in poultry feed. When this product is added into the compound feed, it has the following characteristics:
